Executive Search Associate

About the role

Spencer Stuart is seeking an Associate for its Bogotá office to support C‑level functional executive searches across industries. The role combines research, assessment and relationship‑building to deliver high‑quality service to clients and develop diverse candidate slates.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client kick‑off meetings, help develop position specifications, search strategy and target company lists.
• Identify and engage potential candidates, conduct initial assessments and validate fit through reference and source calls.
• Partner with consultants to present qualified slates, provide market insights, compensation data and industry trends.
• Prepare position specifications, candidate presentations and reference reports following the firm’s methodology.
• Maintain up‑to‑date assignment, company and candidate information in the firm’s proprietary database.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and local practice activities.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of progressive experience in executive search, talent acquisition or related client‑service environment.
• Proven project‑management ability in high‑performance settings with multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior‑level clients.
• Undergraduate degree in psychology, business administration or related field; postgraduate business degree is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency with experience in a bilingual environment.
