GBS Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

UPS Global Business Services is hiring an Accounts Payable Associate in Medellin. The position handles all aspects of payments to support the Accounts Payable department, following UPS Global Business Services payment processes and acting as a liaison to identify and resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of payments and support the Accounts Payable department.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies by examining, analyzing and correcting payment issues.
• Act as a liaison to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure payments comply with legal requirements, UPS specifications and government regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze problems or situations and resolve them with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Oracle and General Ledger.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
