Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist

About the role

ICBD is looking for a Global Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage and administer compensation and benefits programs across the United States and Latin America. The position is based in Medellín with a hybrid workplace and sits in the Accounting department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs across the USA and Latin America, aligned with company strategy and local market practice.
• Conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis to keep compensation competitive and equitable.
• Support annual compensation cycles: salary reviews, merit increases, bonus programs, promotions and job leveling.
• Advise HR and business leaders on hiring, internal mobility and retention compensation guidance.
• Analyze compensation data, trends and internal equity to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate benefits administration: enrollments, renewals, vendor management and employee support.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and compensation/benefits requirements in the USA and LATAM countries.
• Help design, implement and improve compensation frameworks, policies and benefit programs.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations on compensation metrics, headcount and benefits utilization.
• Work with payroll, finance, legal and HR teams, and support global mobility, allowances and regional compensation initiatives.
• Maintain employee compensation and benefits records in HRIS systems, assist in audits and compliance reviews, and advise employees on their rights and benefits.

Required profile

• Prior experience managing compensation and benefits processes in both the USA and Latin America.
• Experience with multinational or regional organizations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Advanced English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Compensation analysis, salary benchmarking and benefits administration.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
