Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Roca Alliances, a recruitment firm in the tech sector, offers a Human Resources Generalist position supporting an assigned client account. The role acts as the main point of contact for employees and the client on employee administration, payroll, labor compliance, onboarding and offboarding, and employee experience. It ensures accurate HR processes and compliance with Colombian labor laws under the supervision of the HR Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate employee records, prepare employment documents and respond to employee inquiries
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including orientation, equipment and system access, and separation procedures
• Validate payroll inputs and results, handle payroll and benefits questions, and administer life insurance and other benefits
• Track vacation, sick leave and other absences, and advise clients on Colombian labor law, vacations, medical leave, overtime and termination
• Support occupational health and safety (SG-SST), including safety training, accident follow-up and regulatory compliance
• Monitor HR metrics such as turnover and absenteeism, prepare client reports and support HR projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
• Experience with employee administration, payroll processes and Colombian labor law
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish

• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor legislation
