Intermediate Billing Associate

About the role

This position processes bills and creates and distributes various billing reports. The associate prints, reviews and assembles invoices, prepares billing adjustments and carries out research as needed, paying close attention to detail so that every step of the billing process follows the proper order.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily reconciliations and analyse source documents.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer records and respond to customer inquiries as needed.
• Identify, research and resolve errors or customer disputes.
• Edit billing information, update customer invoicing and ensure support documentation is included.
• Review customer contracts for new pricing and update customer exception lists.
• Create and process manual billing entries and compare billing to customer rates.
• Process transportation records by key entry.
• Add and maintain customer account information and requirements in billing systems.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accounting background preferred.
• English at intermediate level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
