IT Specialist – Bogota Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our Bogota office. You will be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, supporting user devices, and ensuring continuous operation of streaming and broadcasting equipment in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor streaming equipment and critical infrastructure with dedicated tools to guarantee high‑quality service.
• Handle incoming IT support tickets and manage systems such as encoders, dealer modules, access points, and switches.
• Collaborate with development and cross‑functional teams to test new applications and verify network and system functionality.
• Maintain operational continuity of encoders and media servers, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Configure workstations, manage user access, and resolve incidents within SLA standards.
• Maintain IT inventory, update asset records, conduct audits, and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance, support infrastructure improvements, and uphold information security standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 level) with strong written and spoken communication.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware and software support.
• Proven ability to work across departments in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts within a 24/7 operation.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Active Directory administration.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Wi‑Fi networking and overall network management.
• Experience with streaming equipment, encoders, and media servers.
• Use of monitoring tools for infrastructure oversight.
• IT inventory management and asset tracking.
• Information security best practices.
