Legal Coordinator – Hispanic America

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Legal Coordinator to support operations across Hispanic America. You will act as a key partner to the business, providing legal and commercial support, coordinating contract reviews, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and support the negotiation of commercial contracts in line with Alfa Laval’s policies.
• Identify and assess legal, commercial and compliance risks, recommending actions and escalating when necessary.
• Support implementation and monitoring of export control and data protection (GDPR) requirements.
• Map existing contracts and purchase orders to spot gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors on legal matters.
• Develop and improve legal procedures, contract templates and internal guidelines.
• Provide guidance and training to business teams on contractual and compliance topics.
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to regional risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, contractual or commercial compliance functions.
• Experience working in a multinational environment.
• Understanding of commercial contracts, risk management and corporate compliance.
• Intermediate level of English and strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive mindset, adaptability and continuous‑improvement approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of export control regulations (advantageous).
• Familiarity with data protection requirements such as GDPR (advantageous).
