Payroll Specialist (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for a detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end‑to‑end payroll and social security processes for its Colombian workforce. The role is fully remote and requires strict adherence to Colombian labor, tax and social security regulations while providing clear support to employees and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Process the complete payroll cycle for all Colombian employees, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Validate prenómina, manage approval workflows and close the definitive payroll.
• Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions and benefits in line with local legislation.
• Handle withholding tax (retención en la fuente) and ensure electronic transmission to DIAN.
• Administer employee enrollment and updates with EPS, ARL, AFP and Cajas de Compensación.
• Process PILA contributions, parafiscal payments and coordinate reimbursements for sick, maternity and paternity leaves.
• Maintain compliance with Colombian labor law, tax rules and social security requirements, filing all related contributions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits and compliance queries, communicating clearly with staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably within Colombia.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor, tax and social security regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll calculations.
• Effective communication skills to support employees and collaborate with HR, Finance and external advisors.
