Pre-Litigation Case Manager

About the role

Job Duck is seeking a motivated Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to support its growing personal injury practice. This full‑time remote position offers a fast‑paced environment where you can develop a long‑term legal career.

Key responsibilities

• Request and follow up on police reports, medical records, and related documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and coverage.
• Prepare and send Letters of Representation.
• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters throughout the pre‑litigation phase.
• Organize documentation for negotiations and potential settlements.
• Provide regular case updates on insurance coverage, treatment status, and case developments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure an excellent client experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Case Manager, Legal Assistant, or similar role within a personal injury law firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies.
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) and a quiet, distraction‑free remote work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
