Sales Manager – Eye Care

About the role

Lead the district’s commercial performance and field execution while defining and driving the Retina and Glaucoma marketing strategy. The role is accountable for developing field capabilities, coaching the sales team, translating patient, customer and market insights into differentiated strategies, and ensuring strong cross‑functional execution to improve patient outcomes and deliver sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead district commercial strategy and execution aligned with Eye Care business objectives and brand priorities.
• Translate national brand strategies into differentiated district, territory, and account plans.
• Allocate field resources based on business potential, customer opportunity, patient needs, and strategic priorities.
• Ensure consistent high‑quality execution of call plans and account plans.
• Collaborate with Brand and In‑Field teams, facilitate cross‑stakeholder discussions, and synthesize insights to identify target segments and drive Close Loop Marketing.
• Contribute to the brand planning process in line with global strategy and ensure multi‑functional involvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Health Sciences, Life Sciences or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in marketing/commercial excellence within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English proficiency for regional and global discussions and presentations.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare system, its stakeholders and information sources.
• Experience implementing omnichannel strategies (desirable).
