Senior Android Native Developer

About the role

At Intellias we are looking for an exceptional Senior Android Native Developer to join our Colombia team. You will work on advanced tech challenges, collaborating with an international group of technologists, creators and innovators.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to high‑quality mobile app design and architecture.
• Apply software‑engineering design patterns to create modular, performant code.
• Serve as a technical mentor for mobile development.
• Perform code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and drive architectural refactoring.
• Collaborate with API teams on API design and integration.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional experience in Android native development using Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of the Android lifecycle, SDKs (API 28+) and UI design principles.
• Proven experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies and continuous integration pipelines.
• Ability to prototype new features and contribute to UI/UX redesigns.

• Kotlin programming language.

• Dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt).
• Git version control and GitFlow workflow.
• RESTful API integration and OpenAPI (Swagger).
• Unit, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Jetpack components (Navigation, Compose).
• Gradle build configuration.
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics.
• Performance profiling and optimization tools.
