About the role
Coforge is seeking a Senior Backend Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, working remotely from Colombia.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimize cloud‑native microservices deployed on AWS ECS.
- Develop and manage integrations with DynamoDB and other data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑quality, and performant software solutions.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with AWS services, especially ECS, and DynamoDB.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, Git, and Agile development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
