Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Bilingual) – Medellín

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimize our enterprise IT environment. The role maintains stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure services and serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V), ensuring performance, resource allocation, and high‑availability.
• Support networking infrastructure, including switching, wireless networks, and firewall policies.
• Oversee Mobile Device Management solutions and corporate device lifecycle.
• Execute vulnerability management, patching, backup operations, and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Act as Level 2/Level 3 escalation point for infrastructure and network incidents.
• Participate in ITSM processes such as incident and change management, and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT infrastructure administration and support.
• Professional fluency in English for technical discussions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Solid understanding of networking, switching, wireless, and firewall administration.
• Experience with backup, disaster‑recovery, and ITSM platforms.
