Senior Integration & Business Process Engineer

About the role

Decisions is seeking a Senior Integration & Business Process Engineer to design, build, and optimise Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions using ProcessMaker. You will combine backend development, API integrations, and workflow design to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions that drive measurable operational improvements for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BPA and integration solutions that meet customer requirements, timelines and quality expectations.
• Analyse business processes, identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.
• Design and configure workflows, forms and integrations with external systems using HTTP/REST, SOAP/XML and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain backend components in PHP and Laravel, implement API authentication (keys, OAuth, tokens) and handle data transformations in JSON and XML.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and workflow issues, collaborating with technical leads, project managers and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field (completed or in progress).
• Proven experience in backend development with PHP, preferably using Laravel.
• Strong experience building and consuming web‑service integrations (REST APIs, SOAP/XML).
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
