Site Reliability Engineer – Staff Level

About the role

Amadeus is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join its global Platform SRE team. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical airline platforms that serve millions of travelers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain availability, scalability, and stability of production systems and lead incident response.
• Investigate and resolve performance, latency, and operational efficiency issues, including root‑cause analysis.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and serve as a subject‑matter expert for assigned applications and tools.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale 24x7 production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and web/application server technologies.
