Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist

About the role

A hands-on specialist who is both a social media manager and a working graphic designer is sought. The Marketing Director provides strategy and creative direction, while this person turns approved briefs into content calendars and polished, on-brand posts, then schedules and publishes them. The role suits someone who can work independently within brand guidelines, check their own work carefully and communicate early when something is blocked.

Key responsibilities

• Create content calendars and publish on-brand social posts based on approved briefs
• Work independently within brand guidelines and check their own work before submitting
• Communicate early when a task is blocked and keep working on what they can control when the Marketing Director is unavailable
• Apply feedback fully the first time and remember it for future work

Required profile

• Professional experience managing social media channels for brands, including content calendars and performance reporting
• Portfolio of graphic design work showing typography, layout, visual hierarchy and consistent use of brand guidelines
• Experience independently building content calendars from idea to publication
• Fluent written English, with strong copywriting, editing and proofreading
• Experience handling more than one brand or client with its own look and tone
• Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite, short-form video editing and basic motion graphics, website content updates, B2B brand experience, and Spanish

Required skills

• Hands-on use of social scheduling tools and analytics
• Proficiency in the design tools used in the portfolio, with organized, editable source files
