Social Media Specialist – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

Leo Lantz Construction, Inc., a nationally recognized design, build and remodel firm, is looking for a social media specialist to manage its social media presence remotely from Latin America. The role takes over work currently handled by the owner and focuses on creating and organizing content about kitchens, bathrooms and home improvement projects. It suits someone who already understands social media for home improvement businesses and works 12-16 hours per week, coordinating with the company's Glen Allen team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan a manageable content calendar that keeps the social media presence consistent.
• Create and schedule posts showing remodeling projects, design details and craftsmanship.
• Write clear English captions explaining project features and connecting with homeowners.
• Organize project photos, videos and information for use in social content.
• Develop kitchen, bathroom and home improvement content reflecting the company's services.
• Coordinate with the owner to gather project details, confirm accuracy and get content approval.
• Maintain consistent messaging across Facebook, Instagram, Houzz and Pinterest.
• Review content performance and recommend practical improvements.

Required profile

• Experience creating and managing social media content for home improvement or residential remodeling businesses, especially kitchens and bathrooms.
• Strong written English and the ability to communicate clearly with a U.S.-based team.
• Ability to create engaging posts from project photos, videos and supporting information.
• Good judgment about content accuracy, presentation and brand consistency.
• Organization and time-management skills to deliver consistent work within a part-time schedule.
• Ability to work independently, follow through on agreed priorities and ask for information or approvals when needed.
• Based in Latin America and able to coordinate remotely with the Glen Allen team.

What we offer

• Pay of $10-$15 USD per hour depending on experience and skills.
• Remote work from Latin America, 12-16 hours per week; specific days and hours agreed during hiring.
• No benefits are offered; the role is an independent contractor position.
