Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

ScotiaGBS is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to drive recruitment initiatives across various levels, from administrative to senior‑management positions. The role focuses on fostering client relationships and ensuring recruitment processes align with the bank’s risk and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the bank’s broader networks.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection activities for internal promotions and external hires across administrative, leadership, middle‑management, and senior‑management roles.
• Design and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Monitor, control, and track recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present recruitment reports, metrics, and process updates.
• Support assigned projects and demonstrate flexibility in role responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk, regulatory, AML/TF, and conduct risk frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate studies or certifications are a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years leading end‑to‑end recruitment and selection processes.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, results orientation, internal client management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to track recruitment activities, analyze metrics, and prepare statistical reports and presentations.
