Design Manager Railways – Project Management

About the role

Lead the multidisciplinary design delivery of complex railway transportation projects, overseeing all phases from feasibility studies to construction documentation and support. The role requires strong technical leadership, coordination of global teams, and delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions that meet client expectations, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design delivery for complex railway transportation projects, covering feasibility studies through construction documentation and support.
• Coordinate global and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring engineering solutions meet client expectations, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Proactively manage change, communicate updates to stakeholders, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret, organize, and execute technical assignments, acting independently on technical matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, Construction Management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years (preferred 10+ years) of progressive experience in railway engineering design and management.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale railway infrastructure projects across all design phases.
• Advanced English proficiency; fluent Spanish required.

• PMP certification and/or professional engineering registration (asset).
