Digital BIM Coordinator

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Digital BIM Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and digital delivery for complex infrastructure projects in Bogota, Colombia. You will manage the Common Data Environment, support model federation, and ensure BIM standards are applied across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute BIM implementation strategy on international projects and administer the CDE (permissions, model setup in Autodesk Forma or ProjectWise).
• Coordinate multi‑discipline workflows, create federated models, run clash detection, and lead BIM coordination meetings using Navisworks, Revizto or similar tools.
• Manage smart object metadata, classification codes, and integrate point‑cloud data through Scan‑to‑BIM processes.
• Produce 4D construction simulations with Navisworks or Synchro and support content library creation (parametric Revit families, templates).
• Provide technical guidance on Autodesk and Bentley platforms and promote consistency of BIM standards across regions.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a BIM Coordinator with a portfolio of building projects.
• Proven experience with ISO 19650 framework and CDE tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWise.
• Fluent English communication skills and experience working with global project teams.
