Intermediate Project Manager - Mobile Development Team

About the role

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring a contractor to join its global team of IT professionals working remotely. The role guides a newly formed mobile development team as it adapts a successful POS system to a new market, ensuring smooth execution, clear communication and alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the mobile development team and align its activities with project goals and the SOW
• Facilitate Scrum events and guide the team in Scrum practices
• Run 1-on-1s and support team members
• Manage stakeholder communication to align priorities and deliver the project successfully
• Track project progress and metrics and report effectively
• Adjust team priorities based on task estimation and stakeholder feedback
• Work with cross-functional teams, promote open communication and keep documentation up to date
• Support alignment of team activities with scope, deliverables and goals, and assist with budget planning and resource allocation

Required profile

• 3+ years of project management experience with strong knowledge of PM theory and tools
• Strong people management, stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of Scrum with experience facilitating Scrum events
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and adapt to guidance
• Upper-intermediate English
• Desirable: knowledge of SOW processes and documentation, and experience with budget planning
