Intermediate Software Engineer (.NET, Angular) - POS Project

About the role

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring contractors for its global remote-first team. It is looking for a software engineer with solid .NET and Angular expertise to join a new point-of-sale project, helping plan and implement the integration of large products. The project is already widely present in the US, Canada and EU markets.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the client's business domain and take part in planning sessions
• Develop new product features and maintain existing functionality
• Identify and fix bugs while improving product quality
• Assess technical solutions and highlight potential risks
• Collaborate on work decomposition and estimation, and follow the SDLC
• Improve code quality through pull requests and self-review, and document technical solutions
• Contribute to better CI/CD practices and collaborate on design with the Tech Lead and Principal Architect

Required profile

• 3+ years of work experience with .NET
• Hands-on Angular experience, strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs, ASP.NET MVC
• Relational database concepts, MS SQL and SQL/T-SQL
• Software architecture, design patterns, OOP, SOLID and OpenAPI
• Distributed systems, availability and deployment experience
• Agile, CI/CD pipelines and upper-intermediate English
• Desirable: Azure, POS systems, SonarQube and Redis
