Lead Automation Quality Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Lead Automation Quality Engineer to shape and execute the Automation Quality Assurance strategy for a suite of mobile applications and a web‑based Content Management System. You will work with multinational teams, driving test automation across iOS, Android, and cloud‑based platforms while ensuring release stability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test coverage for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) mobile apps.
• Create automated test scripts for the CMS web platform built with ReactJS, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Design automated API tests using REST API, Postman, Swagger, and AWS API Gateway.
• Build and sustain regression testing suites for both mobile and CMS environments.
• Implement smoke tests to verify production releases and critical user flows.

Required profile

• More than five years of hands‑on testing experience.
• At least one year of experience leading and overseeing development teams.
• Strong communication skills with English fluency (B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Appium for mobile automation.
• Playwright for web automation.
• TypeScript for test scripting.
• WebdriverIO for browser and application testing.
• Experience with Swift and Kotlin.
• Knowledge of ReactJS, AWS, REST API, Postman, Swagger, and AWS API Gateway.
