Litigation Assistant

About the role

Bush & Bush Law Group provides personal injury legal representation and is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support its legal team. You will work closely with attorneys and paralegals to keep litigation processes running smoothly, handling case files, documents and trial preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain case files so they are accurate and easy to access.
• Support discovery by gathering and summarizing evidence, organizing responses and creating discovery binders.
• Maintain case calendars and track deadlines, appointments and hearings.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, giving updates on case progress.
• Help prepare trial materials, including exhibits and trial binders.
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in a personal injury law firm; experience in a US law firm is a strong plus.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, able to handle several tasks at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a customer-service approach.
• Collaborative attitude suited to a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with legal research databases is preferred.
