Marketing Growth & Communications Intern

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Marketing Growth & Communications Intern to support consumer programs such as subscriptions, giveaways, surveys, and lifecycle communications. The intern will manage the Braze CRM platform across multiple channels and help shape campaign strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build and launch multi‑channel campaigns (email, push, RCS/SMS, in‑app) using Braze.
• Create, QA, and deploy landing pages and campaign assets, ensuring proper rendering.
• Own day‑to‑day asset production flow, including approvals, compliance checks, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain campaign documentation, track performance, and recommend optimizations.
• Support client and sales teams with in‑app promotional setup and reporting.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in agile, matrixed teams with fast turnarounds.
• Bias for action, ability to identify risks and propose mitigations.

Required skills

• Experience with Braze or another CRM/marketing automation platform.
• Basic creative design skills and familiarity with Figma.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for research, copy drafting, and reporting.
