Remote Software Developer (Colombia)

About the role

NeoWork is hiring Software Developers to join engineering teams at fast-growing U.S. companies. You will build, ship and maintain features across the stack, working directly with product and engineering leads. The position is 100% home-based, based in Colombia, with availability for overlap with U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain front-end and back-end features
• Write clean, tested and well-documented code
• Integrate with APIs, databases and third-party services
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot bugs and improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with product, design and QA to ship on schedule

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Good spoken and written English for working with U.S. teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of your work
• Availability for overlap with U.S. business hours
• Based in Colombia, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern stack, such as JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Node.js, or Python
• Experience with REST APIs, databases and Git
• Nice to have: cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and AI/LLM integrations
