Senior Accountant – Revenue

About the role

Slalom is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the revenue cycle accounting function, ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting across the order‑to‑cash process. The role focuses on applying ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 326 CECL standards while providing analytical insight and control oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting for accounts receivable, contract assets, contract liabilities, write‑offs and adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis and analytical reviews of billing, collections and adjustments.
• Develop and support credit loss estimates (CECL) and rebate accruals, ensuring audit‑ready documentation.
• Review customer contracts using the ASC 606 five‑step model and assess collectability at inception.
• Operate and enhance controls over the revenue transaction cycle and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in mid‑size to large, fast‑growing companies.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 326.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups, complex formulas).
• Power BI and Power Query reporting tools.
• SQL for large‑data analysis.
• Oracle ERP proficiency.
