Senior DevOps Platform Engineer

About the role

Vuori, an athletic apparel brand, is hiring a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement and continuously improve its cloud platform, infrastructure automation, deployment ecosystem and operational excellence practices. The role combines hands-on engineering, platform architecture, DevSecOps, reliability and technical leadership to support scalable, secure and efficient technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure and resilient cloud platforms, and set infrastructure standards, governance and reference architectures.
• Lead platform modernization and technology adoption initiatives.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code strategy, and design and improve CI/CD, deployment automation and release practices.
• Develop reusable automation patterns and engineering frameworks, and recommend architectural improvements based on metrics.
• Lead observability, monitoring and incident management, promote DevSecOps and secure-by-default standards, and drive platform reliability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance across engineering teams, lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and mentor engineers.

Required profile

• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong architecture, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and establish engineering standards.
• Preferred: experience with modern cloud, IaC, CI/CD, monitoring and container platforms, API and integration platforms, FinOps and cloud optimization.

• Infrastructure as Code, strong scripting and automation, reusable infrastructure and deployment frameworks.
• CI/CD, deployment automation, release management, source control and software delivery.
• Observability, monitoring, logging, incident response, SRE and DevSecOps principles.
• Cloud and infrastructure security practices.
